Connecting school, family and community
Nollamara Primary and Intensive English School opened in 1956, and is the Aboriginal word for the red and green kangaroo paw, Western Australia’s floral emblem.
Nollamara Primary and Intensive English School enrols students from Kindergarten–Year 6 with Intensive English classes for newly arrived humanitarian entrants and migrant students.
Nollamara Primary has excellent facilities to cater for the students’ educational, social and physical needs. The school has large, well planned classrooms and a full sized oval for general play and sporting activities. We have a wide range of resources in our library, and all classrooms are air-conditioned. We have a fully enclosed under cover area where assemblies are held. Information Communication Technology is integrated in to the curriculum, and supported by interactive whiteboards in every classroom and a computer lab. An extensive wireless network supports notebook computers and iPad devices.
